EXs127 Legacy 16 Bit Classics Vol. 1

The brand new KApro EXs127 "Legacy 16 Bit Classics Vol. 1" and KApro EXs128 "Legacy 16 Bit Classics Vol. 2" Libraries are dedicated to a 16 bit digital sound production system of which the first version was introduced in 1977, already.

Immediately, this system became highly influential among composers and producers for its cutting-edge audio processing capabilities and its distinctive sounds, providing a sampling rate of up to 100 kHz in the early 1980s at 16 bit resolution per sample and, hence, gradually turning into a true tapeless studio which became one of the ancestors of all modern DAWs.

In this KApro EXs127 "Legacy 16 Bit Classics Vol. 1" Library, you will find

• brass instruments like trumpets, piccolo trumpets, French horns, trombones and tubas, recorded with a vast variety of playing styles as well as round robin based realistic sound emulation,
• woodwind instruments such as the famous shakuhachi sounds of the 1980s, flutes, piccolo flutes and sax sections, also presenting a large portfolio of playing styles and effects as well as round robin based realistic sound emulation,
• choirs and vocal effects, often with a round robin based vivid sound emulation,
• tuned percussion instruments like vibraphone and glockenspiel,
• percussion instruments like processed bass drums and snare drums along with groove loops and percussion effects,
• digital synthesis sounds, especially based on the frequency modulation capabilities of the legacy 16 bit classic instrument – just "beat it" –, and, last but not least,
• vocoder processed counting in the three languages English, French and German.
