The KRS-79 KApro “EXi Atmospheres” Library offers a varied sound set of 64 programs for the KORG KRONOS.
The EXi engines
• AL-1,
• MOD-7,
• MS-20EX,
• PolysixEX, and
• STR-1
were used.
It all starts with the physical modeling of the fantastic “KORG Wavedrum” and continues with the physical modeling of the alien “Wallop” – it’s just like “v’ger”, isn’t it? And the motion control continues with rhythmic arpeggio and step sequencing pads. For instance, take our “KApro Ambi Percolate” pad and play it with JS-Y fully down and a bit of ribbon manipulation. You will be from “Zero To Hero” in no time, physically modeling unheard outer space rhythmic aural surprises. Or collect your “Trance” and “Chillout” experiences, with lots of motion and emotions! Our aural “alien technology” journey will then continue, passing by “The FM Shadows”, living on the MOD-7 “Z’ha Doom” outer rim, resonating and making noises, until we return to our solar system with lush string ensembles and leads.
